Choose your perfect bike.

Excellent road bikes are available to rent, with your choice of an aluminum road bike with carbon fork and seat-stays, a highest top-of-the-line full-carbon road bike, or a hybrid-style "E-bike" (electric-assisted bike), which can make all routes accessible to everyone regardless of fitness or experience level.

An important note on the E-bikes (electric-assisted):

We highly recommended these as a excellent choice for anyone who doesn’t ride regularly or have time to prepare. E-bikes are all the rage in Europe. Several people on last year's trip used them, and they are just great. Don't get the wrong impression – you still have to pedal, but these bikes allow you to work as much or little as you want because you get to choose the amount of battery-boost to your pedals. So you still get a great workout – only, if you want help up the hills – it’s there. They have them in all sizes. In Europe, e-bikes are considered a hip choice, not a cop-out!
We’ll be doing rides most days and the routes are magnificent, fun, and – hilly.  Cycling is the most amazing way to see and experience Tuscany – the fragrance of the air, the beautiful villages (which are all on top of hills, of course!) and the e-bike option makes it accessible.

All rentals include personal fitting, helmet, water-bottle, repair kit, and choice of pedal-type: clip-in (Shimano, Look, or Time), regular flat petals or toe-clips also available. You may bring your own bike, but check with airlines for fees.

A form to reserve your choice of bike will be sent to you after sign-up.
